You may feel that your speaking skills are not up to par, that it takes you forever to get your point across, that you make way too many mistakes to take a “conversation class”. Relax!

We know that you’re not a native speaker, that you’re not fluent. We totally appreciate the fact that you’re making an effort to interact with us in “our” language and we’ll do our best to help you build up your confidence.

We offer two categories of conversational activities. During your stay you can mix and match these activities and book up to a total of five.

One-on-one

Our ambassadors have expertise in a variety of fields and can’t wait to share their knowledge with you. They are also real people with real stories to tell about themselves and Varaignes, about local traditions and customs, about the present and the past.

You can have meetings (60 minutes each) with an ambassador of your choice. You can meet over breakfast, lunch or dinner. In a restaurant, in the park, by the river. In the sun or in the shade. But definitely not in a classroom with a blackboard, chalk, quizzes and tests!!!

Outings

You’re an active learner and can’t sit still for 60 minutes? Want to speak French in a totally relaxed and authentic setting? Try one of our outings! Depending on the season and the weather here are some of the activities we can offer you:
